Small ideas. Bigger machines.
THE INVENTOR'S FIELD GUIDE
Follow the flow.
Guide each liquid through the openings in the fixed terrain and into its matching receiver. Fill every receiver and keep the system stable for two seconds. Droplets bounce and slide against fixed obstacles. Experiment as long as you like.
Place & move
On touch screens, swipe sideways in the parts tray to see more tools. Drag upward to pick up a tool, or tap a tool and then tap the board. During a touch drag from the tray or when moving a placed part, the preview floats above your finger and drops where shown. Drag a part from the tray, or tap its card then tap the playfield. While dragging new or placed parts, white outlines mark valid placement; red outlines mark blocked spots. Dropping a placed part on red returns it to its starting position. Drag placed parts at any time—even while the fluid is running. Dark bolted walls are fixed. Droplets collide with these walls rather than disappearing. Parts must fit completely in the open spaces. Use the openings to plan each change of direction.
Rotate & refine
Select a part and drag its round rotation handle. Use the ±1° buttons for fine adjustments. Arrow keys move it; Q/E rotate. Hold Shift for fine dragging.
Take a closer look
Puzzles fit on one board. Wheel or pinch to zoom in for precise placement. Right-drag, two-finger drag, or enable ✥ to pan. Fit shows the entire machine again.
Experiment freely
Space pauses. R restarts fluids without moving parts. Undo/redo restores placement. Double-click or Delete returns a part to the tray.
Build a stable system
Receivers slowly drain when flow stops. Wrong liquid reduces the fill. Water and lava annihilate; lava burns oil. Metal balls belong in silver receivers.
Earn three medals
One for solving with any working layout. One for meeting the optional efficiency target. One for meeting both time and capture targets. Capture excludes droplets still traveling through the machine. Every puzzle includes spare tools. You do not need to use every tool or match the schematic. Hints are free; loading a full schematic awards one star and keeps its records separate.
Gravity always pulls downward. Accelerators and powered bumpers provide lift. Routes can run sideways, rise, or double back; Fit shows the whole machine.
Colored dotted links show mechanisms: flow charges switches and spins wheels to open gates. A lever can latch a gate open when a ball hits it. Reservoirs store droplets; select one to open its valve. Accelerators launch in the direction of their arrow.
Progress is stored locally. Private browsing or clearing browser data may remove it. Download a save backup from Settings to keep it safe. Desktop and landscape touch layouts offer the most room.
